Maria and Selina are now back from Turkey fully refreshed and revitalised! The weather wasn't too good — luckily we have Fake Bake in the salon to help us looked nice and bronzed.

Fake Bake Spray Tan is proving very popular, especially with the men. It's a great no fuss tan which looks extremely natural. You simply get sprayed, leave to develop, wash off and hey presto - a lovely bronzed body!

Wedding Spectacular

The Beauty of Bedford Team will be at the Wedding Guide Wedding Spectacular at the Swan Hotel in Bedford on Sunday 6^th November. Doors open at 11am until 4pm, with fashion shows at 12.30 and 2.30pm. It should be a great day - we're especially looking forward to trying out those Chocolate Fountains and Wedding Cake Samples...

However, its not all fun as we do have work to do! Beauty of Bedford will be there promoting our pre-Wedding and Hen Day Packages.

We are really excited in the salon due to the fact we have some brand new treatments on their way...

Space

Space is a face and scalp treatment that not only rejuvenates the face but also provides a deeper, almost meditational relaxation therapy. It incorporates Tibetan Head Massage (forget Indian head massage - that's old news now!) and this treatment was officially launched at Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Charity Ball. Look out for this treatment at Beauty of Bedford in December...

Limited Edition Christmas Facial

To get you in that festive mood, we are launching the limited edition Christmas Facial. This facial includes fresh hot towels infused in the spicy aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon and orange with these same ingredients also used in our specially blended fresh mask and scrub. Perfect for preparing your skin for the harsh winter weather and smoky Christmas Party atmospheres. This facial will be available next week!

I can't believe it's October already!

New Therapist

There has been lots going on at Beauty of Bedford this month, but first I'd like to introduce our new Beauty Therapist, Amy Roberts. She only joined us last week and works on a Wednesday evening and all day Saturday. A really lovely girl she'll be doing waxing, eye treatments such as lash and brow tints, lash perms and brow shapes, as well as manicures and pedicures. A welcome asset to the Beauty of Bedford team, it'll make booking appointments much easier for you all, as you'll be more likely to get booked in exactly when you want to.

I really hate to remind you all but, Christmas really is not that far off and we are already receiving Christmas bookings! If you know when your Christmas party is, don't delay in booking your appointments to ensure you won't be left disappointed when the time comes...

New Treatments

Just before Selina and I set off on our holidays, we are launching the FAKE BAKE INSTANT SPRAY TAN - well, we had to make sure we are nicely tanned before we hit the beach! As from Friday 14th October you'll be able to have one too. It works in exactly the same way as the usual Fake Bake in that it activates your melanin production ensuring a natural looking tan that will fade evenly over a week. The only difference is, we don't exfoliate (ensure to exfoliate before you come) and rather than rub the tan on, we spray it. This means it's much quicker to do - about 15 to 20 minutes, and the colour of the product (that chocolate brown colour) will be applied much more evenly so you will look lovely and bronzed as soon as you leave the salon.

To launch this new treatment, on FRIDAY 14th OCTOBER ONLY, we will be spray tanning at half price all day. That'll mean a full spray tan at only £12.50. What a bargain just in time for the weekend! So hurry and book as soon as you can because spaces are limited.

Talking of new treatments, Selina and I went on another Karin Herzog training session and we came away with a brand new body treatment. Called O2 RELAX, it really is a relaxing massage. In fact, I actually fell asleep half way through the treatment it was so nice. The treatment begins with a total body cleanse followed by an exfoliation using our special fruit serums. You then experience an Ayurvedic based massage (concentrates on pressure points which really help to release your energies) followed by a full body oxygen mask which increases your circulation while giving you a good detox. Sound lovely? Book yourself in for one! Priced at £55 for 90 minutes of sheer bliss, I am sure you will love it.

Me and Selina are always going on about how the oxygen cream works, but if you look at the Karin Herzog website you'll get to see a closer look of how it actually penetrates the skin. It's a really good skin animation - very clever!

New Opening Times

Due to the popularity of our Wednesday late night opening, we have decided to add another late night. As from Monday 31st October, the opening times for a Monday will be 2pm till 9pm.
